Itinerary

Begin your journey from Srinagar in the early morning, as you embark on a scenic drive to Kargil. As you leave Srinagar, you'll traverse through the breathtaking landscapes of the Kashmir Valley. En route, make sure to stop at Sonamarg, known as the Meadow of Gold, where you can soak in the beauty of glaciers and alpine meadows. Continue your journey through the Zoji La Pass, a high mountain pass offering stunning views. Another significant stop on the way is the Drass War Memorial, commemorating the heroes of the Kargil War. Arrive in Kargil by evening, where you can check into your hotel and unwind after a long day of travel. Take a leisurely stroll through the local market, sampling some delicious Kashmiri cuisine and interacting with the friendly locals.

After breakfast, hit the road again as you make your way to Leh, the capital of Ladakh. The journey from Kargil to Leh is filled with mesmerizing landscapes and interesting stops. Your first stop of the day is Lamayuru Monastery, one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Ladakh, perched atop a hill overlooking the village. Next, you'll pass through the Magnetic Hill, a mysterious natural phenomenon where vehicles appear to defy gravity. As you approach Leh, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the Indus Valley. Upon reaching Leh, check into your hotel and take some time to acclimatize to the high altitude. Today is dedicated to exploring the charming town of Leh and its surrounding attractions. After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour with a visit to the historic Leh Palace, a former royal residence offering panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountains. Next, head to the Shanti Stupa, a white-domed Buddhist stupa situated atop a hill, offering panoramic views of the Leh Valley. Today, you'll embark on an unforgettable journey to the enchanting Nubra Valley, known for its stunning landscapes and unique culture. After an early breakfast, drive towards the famous Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Stop at the pass to admire the breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks and click some memorable photographs. Continue your journey towards Nubra Valley, descending into the valley along a winding mountain road. Upon reaching Nubra Valley, check into your hotel or camp and freshen up. In the afternoon, visit the Diskit Monastery, perched atop a hill and offering panoramic views of the valley. Explore the nearby sand dunes of Hunder, where you can enjoy a thrilling camel safari amidst the rolling sand dunes. Spend the evening relaxing at your accommodation, surrounded by the serene beauty of Nubra Valley.

After breakfast, set out to explore more of Nubra Valley's hidden gems. If time permits, visit the charming village of Turtuk, located close to the Line of Control (LoC) with Pakistan. Turtuk offers a glimpse into the Balti culture and lifestyle, with its traditional mud-brick houses and friendly locals. After exploring Turtuk, begin your journey back to Leh, retracing your route through the picturesque landscapes of Nubra Valley. Transportation: This includes pick-up from your designated location in Srinagar (airport, hotel, etc.) and transportation throughout the tour in a comfortable vehicle, preferably an SUV or a minibus with a skilled driver familiar with the terrain.
Accommodation: Accommodation for five nights in comfortable hotels or traditional Ladakhi guesthouses/campsites, based on your preferences and budget. Accommodations are usually arranged in double occupancy rooms with attached bathrooms and basic amenities.
Meals and Refreshments: Your tour package includes daily breakfast featuring a variety of local Ladakhi cuisine, as well as options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice. Additionally, bottled mineral water will be provided throughout the tour to ensure you stay hydrated in the high-altitude environment. As a complimentary treat, you'll also receive chocolates during your journey, adding a touch of sweetness to your travel experience. Please note that lunch and dinner are not included in this package.
